the weather is finally getting warmer and the days grow longer, I find
myself looking back fondly at some of the musical highlights of last
summer. One of the best was a 2-night appearance at the June Bug Cafe
on Matinicus Island- a house (or more accurately barn) concert series presented by my long-time friend and musical
collaborator Nat Hussey. It was a magical experience in an idyllic setting with a great turnout of island residents. We're working to book a repeat performance for this summer, this year in our notorious "songwriters in the round" format with Nat and I joined by Jud Caswell and Maik Bo. Nat has recently christened this ad hoc group as "The Firefly Brothers"! We're working to add a show or 2 on the mainland as well, and I'll add updates and details (along with any other new gigs) as soon as they materialize.
