been a few decades, but I'm finally getting settled into using the
technology of the 21st century! After releasing my new album "Are We There Yet?" on CD, streaming,
and digital download platforms I finally realized how simple the
digital release process can be. I've had plenty of requests for digital
copies of my first 2 albums over the past few years, and now they have
both been delivered all major outlets! All three are also available
on CD at my live shows or via e-mail to bill@billgawley.com. July was busy with several great live performances in Maine- a Brooksville summer fundraiser concert with Jackie Pike lending a hand on fiddle & vocals, and a couple of "Big Bucket o' Songwriters" (my unofficial working title) shows with long-time partners in crime Jud Caswell, Nat Hussey, and Maik Bo. We all started playing together almost 30 years ago and try to schedule at least one of these shows whenever we're all in the same town/state/country. This year was better than ever, despite the rain and some over-zealous railroad workers at our Freeport show last Sunday! August is much slower for me, except for a long-anticipated show on Matinicus Island with Nat (that's a little challenging for non-islanders to attend).
